Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Nobody, not one single man or one single woman, has ability to bind himself or be bound as a servant or slave to two supreme masters or authorities: for either you will greatly dislike, detest, and abhor the one and you will love and enjoy serving the other; or else you will adhere to the one and disregard with contempt the other. You absolutely cannot (are not able to) serve and be led by GOD, and serve and be led by a coveteous and insatiable greedy lust for wealth and its power at the same time. It is not possible for any man or any woman, not even one man or woman, to serve or be a slave to two masters: for either you will greatly desire to ignore the one while greatly desiring to serve the other; or you will strive to closely stick to the one while striving to escape the other. It is absolutely impossible to be a committed servant and worshipper of GOD and to also serve with commitment, worship, and idolize wealth and its power.
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Therefore I am telling you, do not be anxious and concerned about the things of life like eating, or drinking, or having clothes. Isn’t your life about more than eating, and your body about more than wearing clothes? Therefore I command you, do not be in fear about your life, worrying (fearful) about what you will eat or what you will drink; or even worrying about what clothing you shall wear. Isn’t your life, your existence, created to be more meaningful and important than only about food and your body created to be more meaningful and important than only about what you will wear on it?
Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Look at and intently observe the mature creatures that fly through the air: they do not work at planting, neither do they work at harvesting, nor do they work at gathering and collecting the harvest for storage in barns or granaries; and still your heavenly Father continuously provides them with food to eat. Are you not much more important to your heavenly Father than these flying creatures are?
Matthew 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? But who among you, by anxious, careful, and fearful thought, has the ability to add one cubit (the measure from elbow to wrist) to your height?
Matthew 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

And why are you anxious and fearful concerning the clothing you will wear? Note carefully and learn thoroughly from the lilies of the field, the way they grow; they absolutely do not work hard, neither do they draw out threads and make clothing:

Matthew 6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. And yet I say to you, that not even Solomon in all his splendor and magnificence was adorned like one of these.
Matthew 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

But if GOD so adorns the plants of the field with such rich attire, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, shall GOD not to a much greater degree adorn you, O you who refuse to believe?

But if GOD so dresses the plants of the field with such beauty, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven for fuel or food, shall GOD not to a much greater degree dress you, O you who lack confidence in GOD?

Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? Because of this, do not be anxiously fearful, saying, “What shall we have to eat?” or “What shall we have to drink?” or “What clothes shall we have to wear?”
Matthew 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. The Gentiles crave, seek, and demand all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father sees and knows that you are need all these things. Those who are not the promised seed of Abraham crave, seek, and demand every one of these things; and indeed your heavenly Father sees and knows that you need absolutely all these things.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. But you, before everything else. wholeheartedly search out the realm where GOD rules and reigns supreme in all things, and His way of doing everything; and all these other things shall be joined to you. But you, above all other things, earnestly endeavor upon a quest for the domain where GOD is King, and His standard of right, truth, and justice; and absolutely every one of these things (that the Gentiles crave, seek, and demand) shall be placed in your possession.
Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Do not be uneasy concerning tomorrow: because tomorrow will have enough anxiety for itself. Satisfactory for each day is its own troubles. Take no anxiously fearful thoughts concerning tomorrow: for tomorrow will contain enough troubles and concerns for itself. Each day has enough badness, depravity, malignity, and problems to deal with in itself.
